Mira C\u00f6ppikus is a young German soprano with a lyrical voice and dramatic potential. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 2022, she has been studying classical singing\/musical theatre (Bachelor of Music) with Prof. Brigitte Wohlfarth at the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy University of Music and Theatre in Leipzig.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alongside her studies, she continues to develop her skills \u2013 since 2021 through regular workshops and repeated participation in summer masterclasses in Meissen with Lucja Zarzycka<\/strong>, with whom she also prepared for her entrance exam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mira began her vocal training at an early age at the L\u00fcnen Music School, where she sang in the children's, youth and chamber choirs under the direction of Monika Bergmann for many years and received her first singing lessons at the age of ten. In Berlin, she took lessons with Silvia Lacchia and began the preparatory programme at the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf Music School with \u00c9lo\u00efse Cenac-Morth\u00e9. In 2021, she sang in the youth choir of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin for several months and had the opportunity to perform as a soloist and chorister at the anniversary of the Vienna State Opera's opera school, among other events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mira has already received numerous awards for her artistic achievements. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Stadt L\u00fcnen<\/strong> hat sie 2025<\/strong> mit dem Kulturf\u00f6rderpreis<\/strong> ausgezeichnet, um damit ihr Engagement und ihre bisherige k\u00fcnstlerische Laufbahn zu ehren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sie ist Finalistin<\/strong> beim Richard-Wagner-Nachwuchspreis<\/strong> (Januar 2025) sowie beim Bundeswettbewerb Gesang Berlin<\/strong> ( November 2024). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Im Winter 2024 wurde sie als Stipendiatin von Yehudi Menuhin Live Music now e.V. <\/strong>aufgenommen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beim internationalen Wettbewerb Young Voices Alpe Adria<\/strong> in Graz (August 2024) wurde sie als Finalistin<\/strong> mit einem Anerkennungspreis f\u00fcr herausragende k\u00fcnstlerische Leistungen<\/strong> geehrt. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seit 2024 wird sie durch das Deutschlandstipendium<\/strong> gef\u00f6rdert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zudem erhielt sie 2023 den 1. Preis beim VIII. Danubia Talents International Competition<\/strong> in Budapest, ihrem ersten internationalen Wettbewerb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In ihrer Jugend nahm sie mehrfach sehr erfolgreich mit ersten Preisen bei Jugend musiziert <\/strong>teil, das erste Mal im Alter von 12 Jahren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The young soprano gained her first stage experience in opera in university productions: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2024, she appeared on stage in the chorus<\/strong> of Otto Nicolai\u2018s <\/strong>The Merry Wives of Windsor<\/em><\/strong>, a production directed by Karoline Gruber.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the same year she played a part in Giacomo Puccini\u2018s <\/strong>Suor Angelica<\/em><\/strong> (2024, directed by Lea Willeke) as 2. Conversa, Cercatrice and choirist<\/strong> . <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Leo\u0161 Jan\u00e1\u010dek\u2018s <\/strong>Das schlaue F\u00fcchslein<\/em><\/strong> (2023, directed by Karoline Gruber) she played multiple parts - grasshopper, Pepik, fox child<\/strong> - and participated in the choir. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She played her first major role in November 2025 in Benjamin Britten\u2018s The Turn of Screw<\/em><\/strong> als Mrs Grose<\/strong> directed by Michael H\u00f6ppner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
